Fraud

THE INCIDENT HAPPENED ON FEBRUARY 27TH, 2019 AT A SENIORS COMPLEX ON THE 49-HUNDRED BLOCK OF PASQUA STREET. A MALE ENTERED THE FACILITY AND SPOKE WITH SEVERAL RESIDENTS IN THEIR ROOMS. HE PRETENDED TO BE A FAMILY MEMBER, ASKING FOR MONEY AND OTHER VALUABLES. ONE VICTIM REPORTED THEY RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A MALE, CLAIMING HIS VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AND ASKED THE VICTIM TO COME TO THE PARKING LOT TO LOOK. THE SUSPECT WOULD THEN CONVINCE THE VICTIM TO FIND HIS INSURANCE PAPERS INSIDE HIS SUITE, AND WHICH TIME THE SUSPECT WOULD STEAL MONEY.

 

THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS A MALE IN HIS 50’S, FIVE FOOT EIGHT, FIVE FOOT NINE AROUND 160 POUNDS WITH WHITE HAIR, AND A BEARD OR GOATEE. HE WAS WEARING A BLUE AND GREY WINTER JACKET, WHITE NIKE RUNNERS, AND A BLACK NIKE HAT.
