THIS IS A STORY ABOUT LOST AND FOUND. IT’S MARCH 17TH, CLOSE TO 4 PM. A MAN DRIVES TO THE SHOPPERS DRUG MART AT THE NORTHGATE MALL AND HEADS INSIDE. UPON RETURNING HE DISCOVERS THE CAR IS NO LONGER THERE. THE EXTRA SET OF KEYS LEFT INSIDE TURN OUT TO BE TOO TEMPTING. AFTER CONTACTING POLICE THE MAN CALLS HIS GPS CAR SERVICE TO LOCATE IT. IT SHOWS UP IN A PARKING LOT NEAR DAVIN CRESCENT IN REGINA’S NORTHWEST.

SURVEILLANCE VIDEO SHOWS THE SUSPECT PARKING THE STOLEN 2013 WHITE 4 DOOR CHRYSLER TOURING CAR. HE’S NOT NERVOUS ABOUT IT, LEAVING HIS JACKET INSIDE AND RETURNING A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER. HE HAS BAGGAGE IN TOW PREPARED FOR ANOTHER JOURNEY. BUT THERE’S A PROBLEM. THE CAR HAS BEEN DISABLED. AFTER 10 FUTILE MINUTES THE THIEF GIVES UP, GATHERS HIS THINGS AND LEAVES.

THE SUSPECT IS A MAN IN HIS 20’S WITH A SLIM BUILD AND SHORT DARK HAIR. HE WAS WEARING A DARK BALL CAP WITH WHITE TRIM, A DARK COLOURED SHIRT, A LIGHT COLOURED JACKET, DARK PANTS AND DARK SHOES.
