Identity Theft

ON MAY 9, 2018 A MALE SUSPECT ENTERED SEVERAL REGINA BANK’S USING A STOLEN IDENTITY. HE WOULD OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT, APPLY FOR A CREDIT CARD, AND OPEN A LINE OF CREDIT IN SOMEONE ELSE’S NAME. THE MAN WOULD LATER WITHDRAW 27-THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM THE ACCOUNTS AND THEN CLOSE THEM. THE VICTIM OF THIS IDENTITY THEFT DID NOT FIND OUT UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE.

 

THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS A CAUCASIAN MALE IN HIS 50’S OR 60’S. HE HAD SHOULDER LENGTH GREY HAIR THAT WAS IN A PONYTAIL. HE WAS WEARING A GREEN GOLF SHIRT AND TAN PANTS.
