It’s the heart of winter, January 12 to be exact, right around 7:30 in the evening. A man is dropped off by a dark colored SUV at the entrance of Long/McQuade music at the 1400 block of McIntyre Street. He goes inside and peruses the merchandise, setting his sights on a Pioneer DJ controller.
It is clearly to his liking, because he picks it up and walks right out the door, making no effort to pay for it – playing the business to the tune of more than $1,300.
The suspect is a man in his 30s with an average build and short dark hair. He was wearing a dark colored jacket with a hood, a dark colored shirt with a white decal on the front, blue jeans and white runners.
